Job Description Production Technician Are you looking for a hands-on Production Technician opportunity within a specialist engineering environment? Do you have an interest in electronics, assembly, and electrical testing?
If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Our client, a specialist engineering and technology business, is seeking a Production Technician to join their team in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be involved in the assembly and testing of small electronic products.
Production Technician Permanent Position Salary: £25,000–£35,000 (DOE) Monday to Friday Oxfordshire Production Technician Job Description Assemble small electronic products and components to engineering and production specifications Carry out electrical testing and verification using multimeters and other test equipment Assist with fault-finding and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies Carry out soldering and component rework where required Follow engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation Complete production and testing records accurately Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet quality and delivery requirements Develop technical skills through on-the-job training and support from experienced engineers Production Technician Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications Previous experience in electronics assembly, production, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment would be advantageous Interest in developing a career within electronics and engineering Basic understanding of electrical or electronic principles Experience using a multimeter or electrical test equipment would be beneficial Soldering experience would be advantageous but is not essential Ability to follow technical drawings, instructions, and procedures Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Strong practical and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn new technical skills — full training will be provided If you, or anyone you know are interested in the role, click apply or send your CV to .
