Job Title: Senior Programme Manager (M&A Carve-Outs & Separations) Job Description This contract role offers an experienced Senior Programme Manager the opportunity to lead a high-profile business separation programme within a complex enterprise environment.

You will take full ownership of a large-scale M&A carve-out and separation, overseeing multiple workstreams from initial planning through to final execution. Operating fully remotely with occasional team days in London, you will drive governance, delivery, and commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities Take end-to-end ownership of a major M&A carve-out and separation programme, from planning through to execution and completion. Lead and coordinate multiple workstreams, including Technology, HR, Finance, Commercial, and Operations, ensuring alignment to programme objectives.

Manage a team of up to 13 Workstream Leads, providing clear direction, challenge, support, and accountability. Establish and manage Transition Service Agreements (TSAs), overseeing governance, service delivery, and exit planning to ensure a smooth separation.

Drive robust programme governance, including status reporting, risk and issue management, financial oversight, and executive stakeholder communications. Hold workstream leads accountable for delivery against agreed milestones, budgets, and objectives, intervening early to resolve issues.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Senior leadership, to support effective decision-making and delivery. Provide clear leadership and decisive decision-making, resolving issues independently and escalating only where appropriate.

Ensure programme resources remain aligned to delivery priorities and broader business objectives, optimising allocation and utilisation. Maintain a relentless focus on delivery, commercial outcomes, and successful separation execution within tight deadlines.

Operate effectively within complex and politically challenging customer environments, managing expectations and balancing competing priorities.
