Job Description Interim Project Accountant - 3 Month ContractLocation: Oxford Duration: 3 monthsRobert Half Ltd are pleased to be working with a business based in Oxford that are looking for a project accountant to join the team on an interim basis for an initial 3-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can quickly add value, build strong relationships across the business, and provide commercial financial support during a key period. The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter, able to operate independently and partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
You will play a key role in providing insight, challenging costs, and supporting effective business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and support decision-makingChallenge costs and assumptions to drive improved commercial outcomesSupport budgeting and forecasting activitiesProvide analysis and reporting to support business performanceBuild strong relationships with non-finance teams and act as a trusted advisorQuickly understand business requirements and deliver value from day oneAbout You: Previous experience in a similar roleStrong business partnering skills with the confidence to challenge stakeholdersExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisA proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independentlyIdeally professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), although strong QBE candidates will also be consideredAvailable to start at short notice or with a short notice periodRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
