Project Engineer / Project Manager - Mechanical Location: Leicester Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm, Friday 8:30am-3:30pm Are you an experienced Project Engineer or Project Manager with a mechanical engineering background?

Looking for a new opportunity where you can manage projects from initial design through to installation and commissioning? We're looking for a Project Engineer to join an expanding technical team, managing projects valued up to £600k.

The Role Producing 2D AutoCAD drawings, including general arrangements and fabrication drawings (3D advantageous). Carrying out site surveys and liaising with customers. Ordering parts and coordinating suppliers on costs, lead times and quality.

Monitoring project budgets and costs to maximise profitability. Organising and overseeing installation teams. Managing deliveries, site logistics and project schedules. Arranging commissioning and ensuring successful project handovers.

Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years' Project Engineering or Project Management experience. HNC in Mechanical Engineering. At least 2 years' AutoCAD experience.

2D AutoCAD essential; 3D experience advantageous. Air systems or conveyor experience beneficial. Strong organisational, communication and customer-facing skills. Ability to manage budgets, suppliers and multiple projects.
