Project Manager - Civil Construction

Overview

In this role you will lead marine construction projects, guiding scope from planning through execution. You’ll work with engineers, subcontractors, and field crews to deliver waterfront infrastructure on time and within budget, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will drive reporting to senior leadership and coordinate across disciplines to overcome site challenges. Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of marine construction projects including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure seamless project execution
• Oversee construction of marine structures such as piers, bulkheads, jetties, and cofferdams
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior leadership

Key requirements

• 10+ years of experience in marine or heavy civil construction project management
• Proven track record managing waterfront infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of marine equipment, construction methods, and environmental permitting
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., HCSS Heavy Job, Primavera, Smart build)
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
