Project Manager

We are working with a national main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major £10m refurbishment and fit out project in Cambridge. The initial project is expected to run for approximately 6 months, with a strong pipeline of further work available and a clear opportunity to progress into a Contracts Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the successful delivery of a major refurbishment and fit out project from start to completion. Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and subcontractor performance. Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered on time and to the required standards.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement appropriate solutions. Ensure high standards of health and safety, quality and compliance are maintained throughout the project. Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Requirements

Strong main contractor background within the construction industry. Proven experience delivering significant refurbishment and fit out projects valued at circa £10m. Excellent project management, leadership and organisational skills.

Strong experience managing programmes, subcontractors and site teams. Stable employment history with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
