Basildon Salary - Negotiable DOE Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week - Flexi-time in operation. Your new role: Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known manufacturing company which specialises in the design, manufacturing, build and installation of automated machinery working in several industries.
Due to large expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced Project manager with experience of managing extended-life cycle & high-value projects to join their team, working both on site in Basildon and being part of the management of projects working on customer sites both nationally and internationally.
You will play a key role in coordinating internal departments, managing customer relationships and ensuring successful project delivery throughout the full project life cycle. Duties
Manage customer projects from initial order receipt through to successful delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Production Planning, ERP coordination, engineering, production, electrical, controls and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth project execution Prepare and manage job specifications, production schedules, delivery plans, and customer requirements.
Ensure accurate ERP setup, manufacturing order creation, and production planning activities. Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations are achieved. Act as a key point of contact between internal departments and customers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational, planning, customer service, and ERP processes. This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required. Skills & Experience required: Previous experience in a Project Management, Project Engineering, Operations, or Manufacturing Leadership role.
A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and customer order management. The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Background within packaging, print, engineering, FMCG, or similar manufacturing sectors. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence methodologies. What you ...
