Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background to support water infrastructure projects for Thames Water. This is a full-time, site-based contract role requiring effective project leadership, excellent organisation and a thorough understanding of civil works within the water sector.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the delivery of civil engineering projects from planning through to completion Co-ordinating site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams Monitoring programme, quality, health and safety and environmental performance Managing project resources, risks, budgets and delivery schedules Working closely with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners to maintain effective communication Reviewing project documentation, method statements, risk assessments and progress reports Ensuring works are completed in accordance with relevant water industry standards and regulations Resolving site-based issues and driving projects towards successful completion Job

Requirements

Experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering or the water sector Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site delivery Experience managing construction projects in a site-based environment Understanding of health and safety, quality assurance and environmental requirements Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure Relevant project management or civil engineering qualifications would be advantageous Additional Information: This is a full-time, site-based contract opportunity supporting important water infrastructure projects.
