About the RoleAs a Project Manager, you will lead engineering projects throughout their full lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with customer expectations. Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and maintain clear communication throughout every stage of project execution.

About the TeamYou'll become part of a collaborative Project Management team within NOV's Fluid Motion Solutions business. Working closely with colleagues across Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Operations, you'll gain broad exposure to the complete manufacturing process while contributing to successful project delivery.

Experience working within rotating equipment, industrial machinery, manufacturing, or a comparable engineering environment. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems. Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processesTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Soft SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong customer focus with the ability to build lasting relationships.

Confidence managing challenging conversations and balancing competing priorities. Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Other RequirementsWillingness to work on-site in Manchester. Flexibility to undertake occasional business travel when required.

Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).Experience with rotating equipment, Progressive Cavity (PC) pumps, or other industrial pumping solutions.

Knowledge of API, ISO, or other relevant engineering standards. Experience using Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling software. Lead customer projects from order acceptance through engineering, manufacturing, testing, and final delivery.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource priorities to ensure successful project execution. Coordinate activities across Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and other internal stakeholders.

Build trusted relationships with customers and act as their primary point of contact throughout project delivery. Monitor project progress, proactively managing risks, priorities, and project timelines. Review customer specifications and ensure project deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.

Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain accurate project information and monitor project progress using ERP/MRP systems. Communicate project updates clearly and professionally, including managing customer expectations when changes or delays occur.

Identify opportunities to improve collaboration, project execution, and operational efficiency. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company procedures and applicable quality standards. Full timePosting Date: 2026-08-20
