Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop and manage grid-scale BESS engineering projects, managing all aspects including cost, programme and risk. Oversee all project stages from initial planning through to commissioning. Collaboration with internal project engineers and external consultants to ensure project success.

Engage and manage a range of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and conduct hand over processes from commissioning to operations. Monitor technical and logistical components, incorporating feedback into future designs and processes.

Communication of lessons learned and identification of continuous improvement. Support business development to expand project opportunities .

Requirements

Degree qualified, ideally in a STEM subject. Preferable experience in the power industry such as BESS, renewables, ICPs, DNOs, or utilities. Demonstrable experience of delivering large scale engineering projects. Ability to manage project timescales and financials accurately and create accurate reporting throughout the lifecycle.

Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Positive, self motivated and accountable problem solver. Familiar with UK regulations, HSE standards and compliance frameworks. Commutable to Cheltenham office.
