Project Manager – Water Sector

Overview

In this role you will lead a diverse portfolio of water sector projects, ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations and Stantec’s Project Management Framework. You will build and sustain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams, while identifying risks early and keeping projects on track. You’ll manage budgets, schedules and resources, with regular reporting to stakeholders. This position offers hybrid work from Brighton or Southampton and a clear path to contribute to a growing, client‑focused business.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of a portfolio of water sector projects
• Manage client, consultant, contractor and internal stakeholder relationships
• Identify and mitigate risks early and address issues proactively
• Control project budgets, schedules and resources to meet targets
• Prepare and present progress reports and key documentation to audiences

Key requirements

• Experience in the Water industry
• Previous project management experience is essential
• Industry-recognised project management qualification (APM PMQ or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and build strong stakeholder relationships
