Project Manager – Water Sector

Overview

Join Stantec as a Project Manager focused on the water sector in the North of England. You will lead planning, execution and delivery of a varied portfolio, aligning with client expectations and Stantecs PM Framework. You will build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams while identifying and mitigating risks to keep projects on track. You will manage budgets, schedules and resources and provide clear updates to stakeholders. Responsibilities

• lead planning, execution and delivery of a diverse portfolio of water sector projects
• build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders
• identify and mitigate risks early and address issues proactively
• manage project budgets, schedules and resources to meet financial and operational targets
• regular reporting and presenting updates to internal and external audiences

Key requirements

• experience in the Water industry
• prior experience of project management is essential
• industry recognised project management qualification such as the APM PMQ or similar
• experience managing multiple deadlines
• ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• track record of proactive risk management and mitigation
