Job Description Project Quantity Surveyor - FaadesLocation - LiverpoolSalary/Package - £55,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Benefits PackageAbout the CompanyOur client is a specialist contractor operating within the faade and building envelope sector, delivering high-quality faade solutions across major construction projects.
The business has established itself within the industry through its specialist technical knowledge, quality workmanship, and ability to deliver complex faade packages. With a strong pipeline of projects, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and take responsibility for a significant faade package in Liverpool.
The RoleAs Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a £15m faade package on a major Liverpool development.
Key responsibilities will include
Managing the commercial performance of the £15m faade packagePreparing and monitoring CVRs, forecasts, and cost reportsManaging subcontractor and supplier accountsPreparing valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accountsMonitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks and opportunitiesReviewing contractual documentation and ensuring commercial complianceManaging procurement and subcontract negotiationsWorking closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, site teams, and senior managementMaintaining accurate commercial records and reportingLiaising with clients, main contractors, consultants, and supply chain partnersSupporting the successful commercial delivery of the faade package from start through to final accountThe Ideal CandidateThe successful Project Quantity Surveyor will have: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within constructionExperience within faades, cladding, building envelope, or specialist subcontracting would be highly advantageousExperience managing significant project packagesStrong knowledge of cost control, CVRs, forecasting, valuations, and final accountsExperience managing subcontractor accounts and procurementGood understanding of construction contractsStrong commercial awareness and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood Microsoft Excel and IT skillsRelevant Quantity Surveying or construction qualificationWhat's on Offer£55,000 - £70,000 salaryExcellent benefits packageOpportunity to take commercial responsibility for a £15m faade packageMajor construction project based in LiverpoolExposure to complex faade and building envelope worksLong-term career progression within a specialist contractorSupportive and commercially focused working environmentOpportunity to work alongside experienced project and commercial professionalsApply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.
