Job Description Associate (NQ - 3PQE) - Private Property Annual Salary: Competitive Location: Cheltenham Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid We are seeking an Associate (NQ - 3PQE) to join our Private Property group within the Private Client Division at our Cheltenham offfice.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or early career property lawyer to develop their skills in a supportive and collegiate environment. Day-to-day of

the role

Provide legal advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, and charities on property transactions, security, and investments. Manage a substantial and varied workload efficiently and cost-effectively, with appropriate supervision.

Draft legal documents accurately and logically, making effective use of precedents. Apply a commercial approach to research, ensuring relevance and accuracy in the delivery of advice. Support Partners in client marketing and business development activities to help grow the department’s client base and network.

Contribute to divisional knowledge and know-how initiatives. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations, including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations. Required Skills &

Qualifications

Must be an England and Wales qualified solicitor (or equivalent) at NQ – 3 years PQE. Experience as a generalist property lawyer is essential. Experience or interest in landed estates and/or agricultural and rural property work is desirable.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple files and work matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills, able to build trusted working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Confident in both verbal and written communication.
