Proposal Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in response to inquiries, tenders, and RFQs
• Perform hydraulic selections and system sizing to identify optimal Grundfos solutions
• Collaborate with sales, product, and project teams to define scope, pricing, and delivery timelines
• Review specifications to ensure compliance with technical requirements and standards
• Maintain proposal documentation, pricing databases, and CRM records
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and propose cost/performance optimizations

Key requirements

• 2+ years in proposal engineering, technical sales support, or applications engineering within pumps or water installations
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and pump selection
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with selection/sizing software tools
