Pump Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: South East London Paying: £40,000 - £45,000 w/ Van and Fuel Card + Overtime/Call Out Job Type: Permanent We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pump Engineer to join a succesful contractor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a range of pumping equipment, with a particular focus on commercial booster sets and sewage pump systems.

Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair commercial and booster pump sets on social housing estates. Carry out maintenance and repairs on booster, sewage and wastewater pumping stations. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on pumps, motors, control panels and associated equipment.

Carry out pump installations, replacements and commissioning. Inspect, test and maintain pump systems to ensure reliable operation. Complete service reports, job sheets and maintenance records. Respond to reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance visits.

Requirements Previous experience as a Pump Engineer or similar mechanical/electrical engineering role. Good working knowledge of booster sets and sewage pumps. Experience fault-finding on single and three-phase electrical systems.

Knowledge of pump controls, inverters and control panels. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Full UK driving license Benefits Company van and fuel card with private use PDA and uniform Annual leave allowance Company pension
