Purchase Ledger Clerk - Temporary Location: Wolverhampton / Hybrid working Contract: Temporary Working Pattern: 1 day in the office per week, with 3 days in the office initially for training and induction, before moving to 1 day in the office and 4 days working from home.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will have previous purchase ledger experience, be confident using Microsoft Dynamics and have experience processing supplier payments.

Key Responsibilities Processing high volumes of purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently. Matching, batching and coding invoices. Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts. Processing supplier payment runs via BACS and other payment methods.

Preparing and processing supplier payments, ensuring all payments are accurate and made on time. Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies. Dealing with supplier queries and resolving invoice and payment issues.

Managing outstanding invoices and ensuring payment deadlines are met. Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working within a purchase ledger position.

Experience using Microsoft Dynamics is essential. Previous experience processing supplier payments. Strong reconciliation and query-resolution skills. Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills. Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

Available to start at short notice. Working Arrangements The role will initially require 3 days per week in the office to allow for training and a smooth handover. Once settled into the position, the working arrangement will move to 1 day in the office and 4 days working from home.
