Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Your new company A leading business within the aviation and aerospace sector is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join its finance team in Bath. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation where you'll play a key role in overseeing the accounts payable function and supporting the development of finance processes. Your new role Supervising the purchase ledger function and supporting junior team members Managing the end-to-end supplier invoice process Overseeing supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution Reviewing and approving payment runs Monitoring and maintaining accurate supplier records Supporting month-end close activities and reporting requirements Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies across accounts payable Assisting with audit requirements and ad hoc finance projects What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger Supervisor, Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Payable Supervisor role Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and controls Experience supervising or mentoring finance team members Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities Good Excel and finance system skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships A proactive and process-improvement mindset What you'll get in return Salary of £35,000 - £38,000 Hybrid working arrangement Company pension scheme 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Life assurance and employee wellbeing programme Modern office environment Career development opportunities within a growing aerospace organisation Supportive and collaborative finance team What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
