QA Automation Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and implement automated tests for next-gen algo trading systems, shaping QA approaches during a pivotal product phase. You’ll operate within a small, high-visibility team across London and Dublin, influencing testing practices and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure robust trading infrastructure. The position offers exposure to trading data flows (e.g., Bloomberg) and a fast-paced environment where autonomy and cross-functional impact are valued. Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests for next-generation trading systems within the algo/front-office team
• Develop and maintain automation tests using in-house tools and scripting languages
• Operate in an AGILE environment with cross-functional collaboration across London and Dublin
• Ensure QA activities align with trading infrastructure and data flows, including Bloomberg-related data
• Contribute to evolving testing strategies during a critical phase of product development

Key requirements

• Computer Science degree or relevant experience
• 5+ years of manual testing experience
• Experience testing within finance (equities)
• Experience in an AGILE environment
• At least 2 years of automation testing experience
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Lua, Python)
