QA Supervisor

Overview

In this role you will lead Gousto’s QA team in Warrington, driving a proactive quality culture across production. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure only high-quality raw materials reach customers, support a robust QMS, and guide continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll manage audits, non-conformances, and safety improvements while developing systems and testing for new materials and processes. This is a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced, data-driven food business with a strong focus on safety and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA teams daily roadmap and provide mentorship and rota management
• Collaborate with production to embed a visit-ready mindset and ensure quality from materials
• Coordinate non-conformance findings and drive corrective actions with department managers
• Supervise Pick Line QC to optimise replenishment and data capture, boosting picking performance
• Support Technical System team in updating and creating QMS procedures
• Coordinate QA requirements for new raw materials, including shelf-life, transit, and defrost trials
• Champion site health, safety, and environmental improvements within the QA team

Key requirements

• QA experience in fast-paced environments (food/e-commerce/manufacturing preferred)
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and GMP; auditing experience
• Ability to lead and collaborate across functions; supervise shift-based teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented under pressure and able to meet deadlines
• High computer literacy (Email, Excel, Word) and good communication (verbal and written)
