Qlik Sense Developer

Overview

In this role you will design, develop and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and reporting solutions for a global financial services organisation. You will work closely with developers and business analysts to translate requirements into effective, reliable reports, leveraging Qlik Sense, NPrinting and Oracle. You’ll tackle regulatory reporting needs (MiFID) and focus on data quality and dashboard optimization to support cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role that shapes reporting capabilities at scale in a collaborative, in-office environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reporting applications using Qlik Sense
• Build and maintain reports using NPrinting
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries, including multi-table joins
• Work with Oracle databases and existing stored procedures to support reporting requirements
• Enhance existing reporting solutions and develop new dashboards as business needs evolve
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and investigate data discrepancies
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, reliable and fit for purpose

Key requirements

• 3–10 years experience in Qlik Development / Business Intelligence
• Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense
• Experience developing and maintaining reports using NPrinting
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins and query optimisation
• Experience working with Oracle databases beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with technical teams and engaging with stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Financial services or regulatory reporting experience advantageous, particularly MiFID
