We are looking for someone like you. Were currently looking for a QHSE Manager to join our team working for one of our dedicated customers.
The role is responsible for deployment and management of all applicable vehicle compliance and health, safety and environmental policies. The QHSE Manager will be responsible for promoting a culture of health and safety within the sites and the wider XPO business.
This role will be based in Leicester but will have some travel to other sites across the Midlands and North West. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks Heres what youll get up to: Take ownership and accountability of safety and compliance Keep up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry ensuring compliance to ensure Quality and ISO policies and procedures are adhered to and maintained Communicate XPO Logistics QHSE policy and strategy and to raise awareness of QHSE legislation/issues by periodic attendance on site QHSE forums Work closely with the customer to ensure QHSE policy and strategy are aligned as well as work closely with Company solicitors with respect to claims and litigations Identify and agree the objectives to be achieved for HS
