Quality Engineer Leiston, Suffolk (Sizewell) £400 – £450 per day (LTD / CIS) or PAYE option available Accommodation provided Ongoing ContractWe are a specialist recruitment agency partnering with a leading civil engineering contractor to source an experienced Quality Engineer for a major infrastructure project based in Sizewell, Suffolk.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-term, high-profile scheme, offering strong continuity of work and excellent day rates. The RoleAs a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the quality assurance process across site operations.
You will ensure that all works are completed in line with project specifications, with accurate documentation and in accordance with agreed timelines and quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport site teams with accurate record keeping and document control for all quality inspectionsCoordinate with Site Engineers to ensure timely and accurate QA documentationCollate and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) with internal teams and subcontractorsCompile and manage O&M manuals and LTQR (quality packs) for client submissionMaintain and report on monthly KPIs related to quality performanceEnsure compliance with the Project Quality Plan and internal quality proceduresAssist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) processesTrack, manage, and collate handover documentation to support final project deliveryMaintain awareness of environmental and health & safety standards across site operationsEnsure all company policies and procedures are adhered to at all timesAbout YouProven experience within Construction or Civil Engineering environments (essential)Strong understanding of quality assurance processes within large-scale projectsKnowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance requirementsGood understanding of plant and site operationsExperience managing documentation, workflows, and material logisticsAbility to work proactively and adapt to changing site conditionsSkills & QualificationsStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and use initiativeDegree (or equivalent) in a relevant disciplineValid CSCS CardTo be considered for this role please apply with your CV or for more information contact Jenny Saban in our Cambridge office
