Quality Engineer

Major Infrastructure Location: London | Tunnels & Routeway We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale civil engineering project, supporting the delivery team and ensuring works are completed in line with quality standards, specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities Carrying out independent site inspections and quality surveillances. Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirements. Managing and reporting non-conformances. Reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation.

Liaising with the client, delivery teams and subcontractors on quality matters. Ensuring inspections, testing and supporting documentation are completed on time. Supporting the Quality Manager and providing guidance to site teams.

Promoting a right-first-time approach to quality. Requirements Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar quality-related role. Experience working on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects. Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.

Experience managing quality on construction projects. Relevant CSCS card. Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous site-based quality training. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
