Quality Engineer

Overview

In this role you ensure and elevate product quality across a growing manufacturing operation. You’ll develop and maintain quality systems, drive improvements, and reduce non-conformance costs while upholding industry standards. You’ll collaborate with production, engineering, supply chain and customers to sustain high quality and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The position supports operational excellence and customer satisfaction in a forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of quality systems
• Lead improvement activities to reduce non-conformance costs
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and related standards
• Collaborate with production, engineering, supply chain and customers to sustain product quality
• Promote and drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Provide analytical support for quality-related decisions

Key requirements

• Third-level qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years in Quality Engineering/QA/QC in engineering or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (5 Why, 8D, Cause & Effect)
• Knowledge of welding and painting processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and across multiple departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
