responsibilities

Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100). Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, inspection plans, and control plans for both new and existing products.

Conduct root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and DMAIC, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Lead investigations into internal non-conformance's customer complaints, and supplier quality issues.

Review engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and achievable. Participate in design reviews, process validation, and production readiness activities.

Monitor key quality metrics and analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Perform process capability studies and statistical analysis using Statistical Process Control techniques. Support internal, customer, and third-party audits and assist in maintaining audit readiness.

Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and support supplier development initiatives. Assist in the qualification and validation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and inspection methods. Promote continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Prepare quality reports and present findings to management and customers. Ensure calibration, inspection, and testing activities are conducted in accordance with applicable procedures. Support training of production personnel on quality standards, inspection methods, and quality awareness.

Skills and experience

Experience within the highly regulated manufacturing industries. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of quality management systems and quality assurance principles. Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and technical documentation. Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, and ISO 9001 standards. Experience with quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP, SPC, MSA, and PPAP. Key
