About the Quality Inspector RoleOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to support its precision engineering and fabrication operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all components meet strict quality standards, customer specifications, and engineering requirements across a range of industries including automotive, rail, and general engineering.

Key ResponsibilitiesInspect manufactured components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specificationsCarry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections across presswork, laser-cut, and fabricated partsUse a range of measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection toolsIdentify and report non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implementedWork closely with production teams (press brake, CNC, fabrication) to maintain quality standardsSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain accurate inspection records and quality documentationEnsure compliance with company quality systems and ISO standards (e.G.

ISO 9001)Assist in internal audits and contribute to maintaining high-quality processesPromote and uphold health & safety standards within the workplaceAbout YouPrevious experience in a Quality Inspector role within a manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerancesExperience inspecting sheet metal, presswork, or fabricated componentsProficient in using measuring and inspection equipmentKnowledge of quality standards and inspection proceduresGood communication skills and ability to work with production teamsHigh attention to detail and a methodical approach to workProblem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvementDesirable SkillsExperience within a high-volume production environmentKnowledge of CNC processes (press brake, laser cutting, machining)Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systemsPrevious experience working in automotive or similar industriesApplyTo apply for the Quality Inspector position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
