We offer competitive salary and annual leave, with an entitlement of 25 days holiday plus 8 statutory holidays. Victoria Production Engineering is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our precision manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for inspecting manufactured components to ensure they meet engineering drawings, customer specifications and required quality standards. You will work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality to identify issues, support problem-solving and maintain high standards of product conformity.
Key Responsibilities Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection of manufactured components. Operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS software to inspect components and complex features. Use conventional measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges and thread gauges.
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T requirements. Accurately record and report inspection results. Identify and document non-conforming components and support NCR activities. Support FAI/FAIR inspection and documentation where required.
Work directly with Production and Engineering teams to resolve dimensional and manufacturing issues. What you'll need
