Job Description T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and fast paced manufacturing environment working on a wide range of technical products.
Quality Inspector Job Details & Benefits;Monday Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm£12.71 per hour to start, rising to £13.85 following a successful probation period28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidaysOptional paid overtimeOpportunities to train and progressHealthcareCompany pension schemeFree parkingQuality Inspector Main Duties;Inspection of control panels, cable harnesses/looms, and mechanical assemblies to customer and internal drawingsCarrying out visual inspections to ensure products meet workmanship and quality standardsContinuity testing using a multimeterIdentifying defects, damage, missing items, or workmanship issuesVerifying assemblies against bills of materials, drawings, and work instructionsRecording inspection results and reporting quality issues where requiredSupporting production teams with quality related queriesMaintaining a clean and organised inspection areaFollowing company quality procedures and health & safety requirementsQuality Inspector Person Specification;Previous inspection experience is essentialExperience inspecting control panels, cable harnesses/looms, or mechanical assemblies would be advantageous.
