Quality Operations ManagerLocationHertfordshireJob TypePermanentSalaryNEGBlackfield Associates are supporting a leading pharmaceutical organisation in the search for a Quality Manager within Quality Operations. This is a highly visible on-site role with responsibility for leading Quality Assurance activities across manufacture, packaging, testing, storage, and distribution of marketed pharmaceutical products.

ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with internal teams, affiliates, and third-party manufacturing partners, this position will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS), supporting batch release activities, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring ongoing compliance with global GMP and GDP requirements.

Key responsibilities within the position will include, but not be limited to: Champion a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site and within wider Quality Operations. Ensure adherence to Quality Systems, GMP, GDP, and applicable regulatory requirements across manufacturing, packaging, testing, storage, and distribution.

Support batch review, release, and distribution activities to ensure timely supply of products. Lead and support QA activities, including deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, complaints, validation documents, PQRs, audit readiness, and inspection support.

You will have a strong understanding of global compliance requirements, experience managing quality systems and supporting audits and inspections, and the ability to analyse complex quality data and translate findings into actionable improvements.

Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, along with excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
