Quantity Surveyor A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully. - Infrastructure & RailLocation: Blantyre, ScotlandSalary: 55,000-65,000 + Car/Car Allowance + BenefitsI'm currently working with an established infrastructure contractor who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The business delivers a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including major rail schemes, providing the opportunity to work across a varied and commercially challenging project portfolio. The RoleAs Quantity Surveyor, you'll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include

Managing project costs and commercial performanceCost forecasting, reporting and final accountsManaging contractual and commercial obligationsProcurement and subcontract managementIdentifying commercial opportunities and managing riskManaging variations and changeWorking closely with project teams, clients and the supply chainSupporting the delivery of projects safely, efficiently and commerciallyAbout YouWe're looking for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with experience within rail, civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.

You'll ideally have

Previous experience working in a Quantity Surveying roleStrong commercial and contractual knowledgeExperience managing subcontractors and supply chain relationshipsGood understanding of project costs, forecasting and reportingStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive and commercially driven approach55,000-65,000 + Car/Car Allowance + BenefitsThis is a strong opportunity to join an established infrastructure business with a healthy project pipeline and scope for long-term career development.
