Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Newry. Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered efficiently whilst maintaining strong commercial performance. Key duties will include:

• Preparing and managing project budgets and cost plans.
• Producing valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Monitoring project costs and forecasting financial performance.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Supporting project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you should possess:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Previous experience within construction, fit-out or interior projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive approach with strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial reporting systems.
