Proactively identify and manage the time and money implications of project change Support on contractual matters via in depth understanding of the Contract and its implications for profit delivery Develop, support and actively facilitate and participate in rigorous cost controls including early warning systems Provide project procurement support to ensure project is delivered safely, timely, at least cost and to optimal quality Deliver contractually agreed cash flow Assist with the negotiation and agreement of contractual disputes and final accountsQualifications and experience required Quantity surveying qualification preferred, Accountancy qualification or relevant experience Experience of working with a Costs system Understanding of all rail disciplines and interface management Previous experience working on construction projects Ideally knowledge of contract procedures and administration including NEC, ICE, MF/1 and JCT Experience or knowledge of negotiation Good Microsoft Package skills – Word and Excel Ideally experience of working for a contractor in a client facing environment
