As the Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager you will support or lead project finances, contracts, forecasting, cost control, project management and employers agent responsibilities, depending on your level of experience. Working closely with clients, contractors, project managers and stakeholders, the Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager will help maintain commercial performance, manage risk and support successful project delivery across a varied project portfolio.

DUTIESYour duties as the Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager include: Managing Project Budgets: Monitor cost control, forecasting and financial performance across a range of construction projectsSupporting Project Delivery: Assist with or lead project management, client liaison, programme coordination and stakeholder communicationUndertaking Employers Agent
Duties
Support contract administration and act as a key point of contact across assigned projectsPreparing Tender Documentation: Review tender packs, contracts, procurement information and commercial documentationConducting Risk Assessments: Identify commercial risks and support value engineering activities to improve project outcomesNegotiating Agreements: Liaise with contractors, suppliers and subcontractors to support positive commercial outcomesOverseeing Valuations: Manage variations, interim valuations, financial reporting and final accountsEnsuring Compliance: Maintain compliance with contractual, legal and project requirementsMentoring Junior Team Members: Provide guidance and support where appropriate, particularly at senior levelCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSPrevious experience in quantity surveying, commercial management, construction cost control or project managementExperience of employers agent duties and contract administration would be highly desirableGood understanding of JCT contracts and construction project documentationBSc degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline would be preferredExperience using cost management software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong commercial awareness with good analytical, negotiation, problem-solving and financial management skillsAble to build positive relationships with clients, contractors, colleagues and stakeholdersFull Driving Licence is required; pool cars can be usedMRICS qualification, or willingness to work towards chartered status, would be preferredBENEFITSVery competitive salary packageFlexible hybrid workingClear career progression opportunitiesHealth and wellbeing supportExposure to exciting high-profile projectsSupportive and social team cultureOn-site gymHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
