Quest SME – M365 Migration SpecialistContract: End of October 2026 – 12 February 2027 Location: Remote Rate: 565 per dayRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Quest SME to support a large-scale Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration programme.

This role requires more than just migration execution; we’re looking for someone who understands the wider business and user impact of migrations, can identify risks, challenge assumptions, and ensure a smooth end-user experience throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations using Quest On Demand. Plan and execute migration batches, considering dependencies and user impact. Work closely with scheduling and deployment teams to ensure successful migration outcomes.

Monitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide regular reporting. Maintain migration runbooks, deployment documentation, and BAU handover materials. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps within migration plans.

Essential Skills & ExperienceExtensive hands-on experience with Quest On Demand for M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations. Strong knowledge of migrating Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online. Excellent understanding of M365 migration dependencies, including shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and Outlook profile reconfiguration.

Experience managing migration batches and minimising disruption to end users. Proven ability to assess migration impacts and challenge plans where risks or gaps are identified. Experience working within critical deployment and migration teams in enterprise environments.
