Reach Truck Driver 7 Days On / 7 Days Off Newmarket, Suffolk £14.12 per hour including shift allowance 6:00am 6:00pm | 7 Days On, 7 Days Off Temp-to-Perm | Immediate Start Work 7 days, then get 7 days off! Were recruiting experienced Reach Truck Drivers for an immediate start with a large, established distribution operation in Newmarket.
This is an ongoing position offering a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent role after successfully completing 12 weeks . The shift pattern gives you a full week off every other week , making this a great opportunity for experienced FLT drivers looking for consistent work without the traditional Monday-to-Friday schedule.
Your Reach licence expired? Don't let that stop you applying. If you have previous Reach Truck experience, refresher training can be provided. The Role You'll be working within a busy cold-store warehouse and distribution environment , where you'll be responsible for: Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently Putting pallets away into racking Retrieving pallets from warehouse locations Picking pallets ready for despatch Moving stock throughout the warehouse Supporting stock control and stock rotation Completing general warehouse duties when required Carrying out basic truck checks and reporting any faults Maintaining high health & safety standards What We're Looking For Previous Reach Truck driving experience Current Reach Truck licence OR previous certification that requires refresher training Previous warehouse or distribution experience Comfortable working within a cold-store environment Reliable and able to commit to the 7-on/7-off shift pattern Good awareness of warehouse health & safety Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider warehouse team What's On Offer? £14.12 per hour including 60p shift allowance 7 days on / 7 days off 6:00am 6:00pm shifts Immediate starts available Ongoing, full-time work Permanent opportunity after 12 successful weeks Reach Truck refresher training available Full cold-weather PPE provided including coats and gloves On-site canteen Free secure on-site parking Ongoing training and support Interested?
