Job Description This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Legal Director to join a highly regarded national law firm in Leeds, working on commercial property matters across development, investment and corporate occupier work.

With revenue exceeding £200m and more than 1,000 employees, the firm has the scale and resources of a major national practice while retaining a strong focus on people and client relationships. Description The Real Estate Legal Director will be: Advising clients on complex commercial property development and investment matters Handling a broad range of real estate transactions, with a particular focus on development and investment Advising throughout the development life cycle, from conditional land acquisition through to disposal Working with clients with pre let agreements, forward funding and forward commitment arrangements Advising on the acquisition and disposal of completed investments Working closely with specialists across planning, construction, tax, environmental law and banking Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders Providing commercially focused advice and helping clients manage legal and transactional risk * Identifying opportunities to develop client relationships and contribute to the firm's wider business objectives Profile The Real Estate Legal Director should be: A solicitor with around 8+ years PQE Experienced in commercial real estate with a strong background in development and investment work Able to demonstrate experience across the full development life cycle Experienced in areas such as land acquisition, pre lets, forward funding, forward commitments and investment transactions Commercially minded with a strong understanding of the legal and commercial drivers affecting clients An excellent communicator and negotiator who can build strong relationships with clients Confident handling complex transactions with a high degree of autonomy Proactive, pragmatic and solutions focused in their approach Comfortable working with colleagues across multiple specialist disciplines Interested in developing their career within a large national law firm Job Offer Salary ranging from £90,000 to £115,000 27 days of holiday leave.
