Recycling Advisor

We are recruiting a Recycling Advisor to support the safe and efficient operation of a busy household recycling site. This is a practical, customer-facing role involving assisting members of the public, supporting site operations and helping ensure materials are placed into the correct waste streams.
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 2 off Annualised Hours Salary: £25,000 £27,000 per annum Key responsibilities Assist members of the public with sorting and separating waste correctly Provide a helpful and professional service to site users Follow Health & Safety procedures and wear required PPE Keep the site clean, tidy and free from debris Operate fixed and mobile plant and equipment following training and authorisation Support general site operations as required Follow company policies and management instructions What we are looking for Basic Health & Safety knowledge Previous experience with mobile or static plant and equipment Good communication skills Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work weekends and Bank Holidays Desirable 360 Material Handler qualification Contact our Swift Temps Gloucester branch today or click the apply button to submit your CV.
