Refrigeration Engineer Salary: £20.00 per hour (£52,000 per annum based on 50 hours per week) + Overtime The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business.
This is a site-based role responsible for maintaining and supporting critical refrigeration and cooling systems across a busy operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and supporting the smooth running of the facility.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance on refrigeration and cooling systems Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault-finding and repairs Diagnose equipment issues and identify appropriate solutions Recommend repairs, upgrades or replacement equipment where necessary Ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently and in line with relevant regulations Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately Work independently whilst supporting wider operational teams when required About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience working within refrigeration engineering Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience maintaining refrigeration and cooling equipment Ability to manage your own workload and work proactively Good communication and teamwork skills F-Gas certification would be advantageous What's On Offer £20.00 per hour Approx.
