Registered Manager (Maternity Cover)Location: Liverpool Salary: £50,000+ per annum (DOE)Contract: Fixed-term (6-9 months)Start Date: 1 July 2026 Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:00 or 9:00-17:00About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established 40-bed residential care home supporting adult residents, including those living with dementia.
This maternity cover role is ideal for a confident leader who can maintain high standards of care, compliance, and team performance within a supportive and stable environment. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislationProvide strong, visible leadership to the care teamMaintain and enhance high standards of person-centred careOversee care planning, risk assessments, and resident wellbeingManage staffing, recruitment, training, and performanceMaintain occupancy levels and support the admissions processBuild positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionalsMonitor budgets and ensure efficient use of resourcesPromote a positive, homely, and respectful environmentRequirementsPrevious experience as a Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager ready to step upProven experience within an adult residential care homeStrong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory frameworksNVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsAbility to manage a medium-sized service (approx.
