H&J Martin Facilities Management (part of the H&J Martin Group) is now recruiting a Remedial Coordinator on a 12 month contract. Job Summary: The successful candidate will manage the remedial process and provide support and direction to the Service Delivery, Operations and Supply Chain by making real time decisions based on our contract terms and constraints.
The role will require the development of relationships with our internal teams and supply chain to encourage continuous communication between site and the remedial team. Developing relationships with the clients will be a key part of the role.
Key Tasks: The following reflect the main tasks associated with the position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive: Management of the Remedial Reporting Ensuring financial information is included on all remedials submitted to clients Manage and action all queries that come from Remedial works logged and/or approved Report on all remedial and asset improvement works highlighted even if not approved Work closely with the Service Delivery and Operations Team to ensure Remedial Tasks are included on the client Asset / Lifecycle reporting To submit and manage all requests for additional costs to the client, ensuring timely processing to deliver a prompt service to our clients To work directly with staff, supply chain and clients to manage remedial tasks and ensure full compliance with internal policies and procedures To support the Service Delivery and Operations Managers in developing synergies and opportunities to develop integrated working and improve efficiency To work closely with our Commercial Team to ensure correct application of rates and most efficient use of resources To maintain close relationships with our client representatives ensuring remedial reports are submitted with full and accurate information while developing afollow up process on all outstanding remedials including responding to technical queries as they arise.
To set up and provide monthly management reports to the Operations, Service Delivery and Commercial Teams to ensure all departments are working together to improve contract performance To update and maintain the Companys CAFM and document management systems To assist with other duties as may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the Company Key

As a Remedial Coordinator your main skills and experience will include: Essential Criteria Possess 3 years knowledge within industry particularly within the FM sector Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with a diverse workload.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge safe working practices and health & safety requirements Good commercial awareness and experience dealing with invoicing Demonstrate ability to using Microsoft Office / CAFM Systems / Reporting Demonstrate excellent numeracy skills and financial awareness Demonstrate excellent Organizational and time management skills Desirable Criteria Experience of using schedules of rates to calculate cost estimates Experience of carrying out or working on reactive / remedial maintenance contracts Demonstrate experience working in NEC 3 /4 contracts Key Competencies: Decision Making and Problem Solving Must demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and make accurate business decisions.
Customer Understanding Must demonstrate a good understanding of the requirements of customers in respect of the provision of Facilities Services and Construction. Planning Must possess the ability to plan ahead to achieve results.
Flexibility and Initiative Must demonstrate a positive, flexible and self-motivated attitude towards the business and the achievement of objectives. Work Completion Must display the drive and determination to complete work effectively and on time.
