Job Description ResponsibilitiesManagement of own client work (including effective communication and assistance with needs where required)Using digital software to complete bookkeeping duties on a daily basisReconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate and up to date data is being provided to clientsPreparation of financial statements to review statusAssist with crypto accounting consulting projectsCompletion of statutory returns, including but not limited to, VAT returns and self-assessment tax returnsAccurately present data to clients, where applicable, in the form of bespoke reportingReport to Client and Accounts Manager on a regular basis to ensure smooth operation of compliance teamOpenness to exploring and adopting innovative tools and platforms.
RequirementsKnowledge of basic accounting proceduresAn understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Awareness of business trendsFamiliarity with financial accounting statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processHands-on experience with accounting software packages (Xero/Dext preferred)Accuracy and attention to detailAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsRelevant qualifications required - AAT level 4 qualified or equivalent QBE or country equivalent.
