We are seeking an exceptional Research Development Manager: EU & International to join our Strategic Grants Team within Research and Innovation. This is a key role supporting the University's ambition to grow its research excellence, international partnerships, and research income through European Union, Official Development Assistance (ODA), and international funding opportunities.
As Research Development Manager: EU & International, you will play a strategic role in helping the University secure funding from major international sponsors, including Horizon Europe, ODA funders, international agencies, governments, foundations, and other global funding bodies.
You will be an experienced research development professional with a strong understanding of the European and international funding landscape and a track record of supporting successful collaborative funding applications.
Working closely with senior academics, research leaders, and professional services colleagues, you will lead the development and management of complex, high-value research funding applications, providing expert pre-award support from concept development through to submission and award acceptance.
