Restaurant Host - Harrogate Introduction Grantley Hall, a distinguished venue in the United Kingdom, is seeking a personable Restaurant Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this role you will embody our commitment to putting the customer first, uphold the highest standards of service, and work collaboratively with the team while embracing curiosity, accountability and boldness to continuously improve the guest experience.

Responsibilities Warmly greet and seat guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our dedication to customer commitment. Manage reservations and waiting lists accurately, demonstrating accountability and attention to detail.

Communicate clearly with the front of house and kitchen teams to maintain smooth service flow. Provide information about the venue, menu and events, listening to guest enquiries and offering thoughtful recommendations. Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and honestly, seeking balanced solutions that maintain high standards.

Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, contributing to a diverse and inclusive environment. Identify opportunities for service improvement and share ideas with management, showing boldness and curiosity. Support colleagues during busy periods, fostering collaboration and teamwork.

Skills & Experience Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour. Proven experience in a hospitality or front of house role, preferably within a restaurant or events venue. Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple bookings and guest requests simultaneously.

Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team, listening to ideas and opinions while contributing constructively. Commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to suggest and implement bold enhancements to the guest experience.

High level of honesty and integrity, with a focus on delivering consistent, high quality service. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
