Risk Pricing Manager

Overview

As Risk Pricing Manager, you will advance pricing models and maintain robust modelling frameworks to keep them accurate and commercially relevant. You’ll own technical projects from design through implementation, evaluate portfolio data to spot improvement opportunities, and present findings to senior stakeholders. You’ll serve as a technical reference for the team, supporting model validation, governance and the development of other analysts. This role offers hybrid working and a chance to shape the technical direction of a personal lines pricing function.

Responsibilities

• Advance pricing models and algorithms and ensure they remain accurate and commercially relevant
• Own modelling frameworks from design to implementation
• Assess portfolio data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Present recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Act as technical reference for the team in model validation and governance
• Support the development of other analysts and governance processes

Key requirements

• Strong background in statistical modelling, particularly GLMs and GBMs
• Understanding of pricing governance and fair value requirements
• Experience with Radar, Emblem, SQL, Python or Databricks
• Experience managing technical projects and reviewing model changes
