Road Safety Auditor / Project Manager

Overview

In this role, you will support the Liveable Places team across London and the South-East, delivering road safety audits and Vision Zero projects within a multi-disciplinary environment. You’ll manage project finances, programmes and deliverables, and prepare technical reports and documents.

The position emphasizes collaboration with clients and teams to advance place-making and road-safety outcomes. Responsibilities

• Undertake Road Safety Audits
• Contribute to Vision Zero/road safety projects including collision-data analysis and scheme design
• Manage project finances, programme and deliverables
• Prepare reports, sketches, schedules and related documents
• Support a wide range of projects aligned to skills and experience
• Collaborate with the Liveable Places team and wider WSP to achieve objectives

Key requirements

• Qualified Road Safety Auditor in accordance with DMRB GG 119
• Experience in road safety, mitigation strategies and collision data analysis
• Understanding of Vision Zero and the Safe System approach
• Project management experience including financial aspects and mentoring junior colleagues
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
