Job Description Salaried General Practitioner (GP) Location: Haywards Heath Area, West Sussex Contract Type: Permanent Vacancies: 1–2 Start Date: October 2026 About the Role We are seeking one or two Salaried GPs to join an established and supportive GP practice in West Sussex from October 2026.
This is a permanent opportunity within a large multidisciplinary primary care team, offering 15-minute appointments and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced group of GPs, nurses, pharmacists, ANPs and wider practice staff.
Key Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality General Practice consultations - Assess, diagnose and manage acute and long-term conditions - Prescribe safely as an Independent Prescriber - Develop appropriate treatment and management plans - Refer patients to secondary and community services where required - Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne - Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team - Deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care What We're Looking ForEssential - Qualified General Practitioner - Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise - Independent Prescriber - Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary primary care team The practice uses SystmOne, with standard GP appointments lasting 15 minutes.
Working hours start from 08:00 and can run until 18:30 when covering duty.
