Job Description Salaried General Practitioner (GP) Location: Wadhurst, East Sussex Contract Type: Permanent Sessions: 6 Sessions (Two Vacancies Available) Salary: Up to £12,200.50 per session, depending on additional responsibilities About the Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for two Salaried General Practitioners to join a well-established, forward-thinking GP practice in Wadhurst.
The practice is recruiting due to both planned growth and an upcoming vacancy, with one position available immediately and a second commencing from October. You'll be joining a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred primary care, with 15-minute appointments and flexible working arrangements where service needs allow.
Key Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality General Practice consultations - Assess, diagnose and manage acute and long-term conditions - Develop personalised treatment and management plans - Prescribe safely as an Independent Prescriber - Refer patients appropriately to secondary and community services - Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne - Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team - Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement What We're Looking ForEssential - MRCGP qualified - Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise - Inclusion on the GMC GP Register - Listed on an NHS National Performers List (England, Wales or Northern Ireland) - Independent Prescriber - UK based - Excellent communication and patient-centred consultation skills Desirable - Experience using SystmOne - Interest in collaborative multidisciplinary working - Desire to contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice What's on Offer - Up to £12,200.50 per session depending on additional responsibilities - Two permanent 6-session GP vacancies - One position available immediately - One position starting from October - Flexible working requests considered where service delivery allows - 15-minute appointment times - Supportive leadership team including GP Clinical Lead and ACP Clinical Lead - Multidisciplinary team comprising GPs, Advanced Practitioners, Pharmacists and Nurses - Free on-site parking - Structured interview process including an informal practice tour and panel interview If you're looking for a permanent GP opportunity within a supportive, patient-focused practice that values teamwork, flexibility and high-quality clinical care, we'd love to hear from you.
