Sales Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the showroom sales team for Mercedes-Benz Brighton, driving customer service excellence and strong commercial results. You will manage daily showroom operations, oversee stock and valuations, and ensure high standards across marketing and presentation.

You will coach and motivate staff, set department targets, and maintain FCA-compliant processes. Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales process from web inquiry to showroom contact
• Lead staff performance through 1:1s, training, and development
• Set and drive department targets and brand KPIs
• Oversee buying of vehicles and up-to-date stock pricing
• Ensure FCA compliance within the Sales Department
• Own and improve Customer Satisfaction metrics
• Oversee showroom operations from valuation through to imaging and presentation
• Collaborate with divisional buyer, prep technicians, detailers and photography team to uphold marketing standards

Key requirements

• Experience in a premium automotive environment with transactional sales
• Proven ability to lead a motivated team
• Experience monitoring financial performance against budget
• Understanding of finance and insurance product regulations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Full UK driving licence
