CNC Setter/Operator £35-£38,000 Location: Dungannon Hours: Mon-Thurs 7.30-5 Friday 7.30-1.15, Overtime available Were looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our production team. Youll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components accurately and efficiently to engineering drawings and specifications.
What youll be doing Setting, operating and carrying out basic programming of CNC Mills Working with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and symbols Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using gauges and measuring equipment Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety Monitoring tooling, materials and stock levels Keeping your machine and work area clean, safe and well maintained Operating gantry cranes as required Working closely with colleagues and management to meet production targets Recording production time accurately against the correct jobs Reporting machine faults, material requirements and other issues promptly What were looking for Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator, ideally within a machining/manufacturing environment Good knowledge of Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances Experience with inspection and measuring equipment Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Able to work independently as well as part of a team Positive attitude towards quality and health & safety Good organisational and communication skills Basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook knowledge Why join us?
